Investiture Ceremony 2026: Leadership Begins with Responsibility

On 19 July 2026, Gurugram Global Heights School marked an important milestone in its student leadership journey with the Investiture Ceremony 2026, formally welcoming the newly appointed Student Council into their roles of responsibility.

The journey to the ceremony began well before the final induction. Students moved through a carefully structured selection process that included nominations, group discussions, shortlisting and personal interviews, allowing candidates to demonstrate their communication skills, confidence, teamwork and leadership potential.

The selection of the Head Boy and Head Girl brought an added democratic dimension to the process. Shortlisted candidates addressed their fellow students, presenting their vision and ideas before the school community cast its votes. The process encouraged learners to engage with leadership thoughtfully, make informed choices and experience democratic decision-making first-hand.

The Investiture Ceremony brought this journey to a meaningful conclusion. The newly appointed council members were formally declared and presented with their badges and sashes, followed by the administration of the oath of office. With the school leadership addressing the gathering, the ceremony became a moment of both celebration and reflection.

More than the conferment of titles, the occasion reinforced an important message: leadership is built on service, discipline, accountability and the willingness to lead by example.

As the new Student Council stepped forward to take on their responsibilities, the ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter, one shaped by student voice, teamwork and a shared commitment to the school community.
